It will be produced by Simon Kinberg of Genre Films, along with Scott Glassgold & Raymond Brothers of I Am Entertainment. The script will be based on an original story by Jesús Orellana that will expand from the original short film.

Podrá verse de forma gratuita en la sala de proyecciones de la Academia el proximo dia 9 a las 20:00 junto al resto de preseleccionados, asi como por supuesto online a traves de Vimeo, Veomac y la web oficial del corto.

La Academia anuncia los cortometrajes preseleccionados para competir en los Premios Goya en las categorías de animación, documental y ficción.

Las piezas de animación que pueden optar al Premio Goya son Birdboy, de Alberto Vázquez Rico y Pedro River; Dogballs, de Ernesto Felipe Díaz y Hugo Llanas Lumbierres; Ella, de Juan Montes de Oca; Friendsheep, de Jaime Maestro Sellés; Grand Prix, de Anna Solanas y Marc Riba; Historia d’Este, de Pascual Pérez Porcar; Penumbra 3D: el desafortunado reencuentro de Larry y Bird, de Gonzalo Bendala; Quién aguanta más (Zeinek Gehiago Iraun), de Gregorio Muro; Rosa, de Jesús Orellana Pérez; y Yaku, de Nacho Pesquera y Nacho Subirats.

ROSA has been accepted into competition at the 12^th annual UTOPIALES Festival International de Science-Fiction de Nantes. ROSA will play on Friday, November 11 2011, 14:45h and on Saturday, November 12 2011, 14:45h at Nantes, France.

Originally founded in 1998, the Nantes International Science-Fiction Festival is a multimedia festival featuring whole sections devoted to literature, comics, science, video games and, of course, film. With over 200 international guests in 2002, the festival is now the most important SF cultural event in Europe and one of the biggest SF writers’ conventions in the world.
